“Zentangle: In Peace” begins with my reflections on seeking calm and presence in the world, traced through tangle-like, doodle-like lines. Using the shiny interior of multi-layer plastic packaging, I follow my stitches as they form a round, earth-like shape filled with quiet light and a sense of mysterious peace.

I hope viewers sense a quiet peace, something they may recognize, upon a closer look, with the Little Prince. Working with discarded plastics reminds me that even ordinary materials can reveal unexpected beauty, much like life itself.
